Grown in the cool subtropical highlands of Ethiopia and cultivated with meticulous care at the ideal climate and temperature, the world renowned Ethiopian Arabica coffee beans become the very substance and identity of Boost Coffee. Amongst Ethiopian neighbors the often uttered words of “ኑ ቡና እንጠጣ” (Nu, buna ente’ta), meaning “come, let us have coffee” are the inviting words you would hear daily. The spirit of cooperation is not just amongst users of our coffee but also between our company and the tight knit community of farmers who naturally grow and harvest superior coffee beans with extreme care and sustainable manner. WE as buyers, processors, distributors and consumers of this coffee are an extended hand of these farmers and the community that invite us to come, let us have coffee.

HOW WE PROCESS OUR COFFEE?

The coffee beans that we carefully sourced directly from the framers are sampled and undergo lab testing to examine the moisture content, health and quality of the crop. Upon passing the lab test, the coffee beans are sorted for grading by weight, size, and color using a highly computerized sorting machine. It is then hand examined by our highly trained employees to remove defective beans that escaped machine sorting. All passing lots are then transferred to the roasting step or bagged to be distributed as green bean coffee.

HOW WE ROAST OUR COFFEE?

Our roasting operation uses highly efficient commercial roasting machines to ensure product quality and consistency. Our coffee beans are roasted to develop high quality flavors varying from light, medium to dark roasts. Following the roasting step, the coffee is left to rest to release carbon dioxide produced during roasting at the degassing step. Thereafter we perform final visual inspection and sample cupping to deliver the highest premium quality coffee to our customers.

OUR PREMIUM PACKAGES

Our packages are properly labeled and packed with certified food grade packaging. To maintain freshness, our roasted coffee beans are individually packed and sealed with zipper bags in various sizes
